Refreshed and Ready

After two weeks away from the hustle and bustle of editing and filming, it’s amazing how recharged and inspired I feel to dive back into my craft. Whether you’ve been taking time to relax, travel, or focus on other creative projects, there’s something uniquely powerful about stepping back from your work.

Coming back after a break, I feel like I’m seeing everything with fresh eyes. The anticipation of filming a couple’s big day today at the Red Barn at Crafton Farms is now filled with excitement, not just from a professional standpoint but from a renewed passion for the craft. I’m reminded of the beautiful moments I get to capture—those intimate exchanges, the tears of joy, and the spontaneous celebrations that make each wedding so unique.

Taking a break has allowed me to reflect on my process, giving me the chance to think of new ways to enhance the filming experience. I’m eager to try out fresh techniques and incorporate new editing styles that reflect the love and energy each couple brings to their day while maintaining the level of quality that people have come to expect from Peerless. Whether it’s experimenting with drone shots, exploring creative angles, or trying out new audio equipment, I’m ready to make each wedding film even more special than the last.

It’s easy to get caught up in the grind of wedding season, but a little time away gives you the mental space to refocus and remember why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place. So, as I jump back into the swing of things, I’m excited to capture the magic of weddings with a newfound sense of inspiration, creativity, and excitement. Here’s to an amazing season of filming and storytelling ahead!
